Our mission: making "Pop Up" gallery space/venues available to vetted developing visual artists. Audience is what feeds a starving artist and that's what we provide. Working in conjunction with local, state and private foundations, EAI creates events to promote talented and innovative artists. Our pilot events target the Washington DC metropolitan area, but are not limited to showcasing local artists. more
EAI has three Event Types in which property owners/managers and artists can choose to participate:
3-6 month pop up art gallery for vetted EAI Resident Artists. High pedestrian trafficked storefronts with ample parking in areas with residential neighborhoods included. Artists staff the gallery during operational hours.
Office Space is managed exhibition of EAI artist works for your Reception Area or Meeting Rooms. Think of this like an “ indoor plant service” for art. EAI installs and rotates out works by our Resident Artists. There is no fee, however we do require a 3 month minimum venue with placards that include EAI contact information.
Exhibits installed in your building lobby. Opening and closing events for the show, but the exhibit is not staffed by the artists. This is a wonderful way to support the arts without any overhead or burden to your organizations staff aside from installation and tear down of the exhibit.
